Hey guys! erm... and girls....?

I would like to wish all PERMATApintar-ians good luck and all the best for finals in the next three weeks. I know it is very stressful seeing other schools' students done the finals and we are just about to begin ours! God, why??!! Don't worry, it just an exam after all. Just do your best and don't worry about the results and don't ever compare yourself with others. Look at the bright side, it is the year end holidays right after the finals! yay!!! I think I won't have time to really interact with any of my friends and have a chit chat time with them. So, I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for any intentional or unintentional mistakes I have done throughout our friendship. Thank you for making my life more meaningful and exciting. Today is such a tiring day. We had 3 hours of Biology class today. It was interesting but it was just too long for me. I was starving when the class almost ended. I went straight to the dining hall to have my lunch but guess what the rice had already finished. I waited there for half an hour for the rice but it went in vain thanks to the idiot cafeteria people. I'm so annoyed!! I ended up eating 2 slice of white bread with sambal. I then spent my time in the library with Alia finishing my Modern Mathematics assignment till around 4.15pm. I then went for my French class that started at 4.45pm. The French lesson was awesome and it ended at 6.30pm. I went to the dining hall to have some dinner but the food was just so horrible so I decided to skip it. I went straight to my room after that. Starting from prep hours till now, I am currently working on my History assignment which is to produce a video on the Western Imperialism in Eastern countries. I guess I am not the only one who is going to stay up tonight to do this assignment. I hope I'll be able to see progress in my work. #weirdwednesday

Hmmm.....
Today I got a number of assignments since most of teachers are trying to finish the syllabus as soon as possible because finals is just in three weeks! Guess what, I didn't even start my revision yet... I did my assignments the whole evening. I stopped when I heard the azan for Mahgrib prayers for the muslims which is around 7pm. I took my shower and went to prep class since it starts at 8pm for non-muslims. At around 9pm, we were all asked to gather in front of our multipurpose hall. I saw a police car and I start wondering what had happened. At the end we found out that there were two boys that got lost in the nearby jungle untill around 8pm. When they realise that the are lost, they called the emergency line and the emergency unit came together with the university's security unit and the administrations of my school. Luckily, they managed to find their way out of the jungle. We went back to our prep class at around 10pm and the warden extended our prep time to 11.15pm since a portion of our prep time was being used for the gathering. I watched 'The Conjuring' right after I went back to my room. It was 2 hours long. The movie was ok just the starting of the movie was spooky for me. #mysterymonday

Nothing special happened today. I just went back to my hostel at around 3. Now I'm currently in my prep class. I taught to update my blog since I got nothing to do but I had no idea. I woke up late today and straight away had my lunch right after I freshen up. The lunch was super delicious. There was nothing much I did today, I just watched a couple a movies on the television with my siblings until evening and did half of my Modern mathematics handout. I planned to finish it by tonight but my plan failed as I didn't even touch it after doing half of it. I played my phone games and went for dinner with my family at a nearby Chinese restaurant at around 8pm. We ordered and some of us went to the nearby night market while waiting for the food to arrive. I talked to my cousin who is going through her exam, PMR. She said that she thinks she might be able to get straight As. Hopefully she will. The adults of my family have decided to go to Genting Highlands tonight. They left at about 10pm and they are still not back yet. Well the main purpose they went there is for the casino and gambling. Hopefully they will win some cash and spend some on us. I went on Facebook at 11pm and only stopped a few minutes ago. I was about to sleep when I remembered that I had to write on this blog. I am very sleepy now and I'm gonna go right to bed after this. I can't believe this week passed so fast! It just felt like yesterday was the first day of the Nobel Laureate program. It ended today at around 5.30pm. The program was just amazing and wonderful. I have learnt a lot of good stuffs and skills I need in beginning my research. I also got a bunch of contacts of the scientists in Malaysia. Hopefully I'll be able to contact them in the future for my research. I went back home straight after the program ended. The 30 minutes journey to my house was on my uncle's motorcycle. He fetched me right after his work. Everyone was at home when I reached. Missed my family. Ten, came the 'hugs and kisses' session. Haha... I just ate a good dinner and now spending time watching television with my sibling. Having a good time..... #fabulousfriday

Today is already the fourth day of the Nobel Mindset program. We learnt about how to prepare our research proposal with one of the young scientist of the program named Dr. Ng Eng Poh. My teacher, Dr. Oscar showed us a few papers on the latest researches in the National Geographic Channel. It was awesome and very interesting. We got our t-shirt from the program. It is yellow in color and frankly speaking, it is uglier than the first workshop early this year. We had to change to it before 5pm. We then met many lecturer and researcher from local universities of Malaysia. It ended at around 6.30 pm and I had my dinner right after it. Today, I got a letter from my best friend through her dorm mate since her dorm mate is participating in the program. I was very happy and excited upon receiving her letter. I quickly wrote a reply letter as soon as I reached my room after dinner. I am doing to pass it to the dorm mate tomorrow. I am even sending her a bracelet. Hopefully she will love it. At prep, me and Azfar decided to share our biology assignment. I will do half of it while he do another half, then we exchange answers. Half way, Qistina joined us as she had a biology dictionary that we wanted to lend to find the answers. So, three of us did our own part and before prep ended, we exchanged answers with each other. #timereversethursday

Today we learn how to interview in the morning session of the Nobel Laureate program. It was fun and useful. After lunch, we interviewed the young scientist group of the program. They were consist of researchers and lecturer of the local universities in Malaysia like Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Universiti Sains Malaysia. They are doing research in science like Biology, Physics and Chemistry. They get to share some experience with us and it was worth it. I quickly rushed for French lesson right after the program ended for the day. We learnt about colors in French. We watched videos and listen songs about it. We even played a short game to refresh and revise on the nationality lesson last two weeks. It was fun and I had a good laugh with my friend, Vivien during the class. I went to prep at around 8.30pm. We discussed about our class magazine today during prep which is our malay language work. I am one of the editor of the magazine with Assila and Nukman as the head of editor. I am also assigned to work with Azfar in the 'perbincangan' column. Hopefully we will able to publish a good class magazine before the due date. #wonderfulwednesday

Wow! Today is already the first day of the month October. Time fly fast. Today was the second day of the program. To be honest, I felt sleepy the whole day. I forced my eyes not to shut. Btw, one of the Nobel Laureate's, Dr. Richard was here in my school in the morning to give a talk and share his experience doing his research on DNA. It was an inspirational talk and we took a group photo after the talk. I feel very grateful to be able to meet a Nobel Laureate for the first time in my entire life. Today is a special day in my life since I met a great scientist today. We still have the water problem in our hostel. Unfortunately, the water supply will be cut off till tomorrow. Luckily, I have a pail of water. Hopefully it will be enough for tomorrow. Finally, I went to prep class today but there were just a few of us since many are still sick from the weekend camping. Hopefully they will get well soon enough to cope up with their studies since finals is just about a month from now. I would also want to wish to all PMR candidates in Malaysia, all the best for the exam and stay calm and stay health during the exam! #wishingtuesday

Today was the first day of the Nobel Laureate program. I helped in registration section as it was held in my school. A number of students and teachers from other schools also attended it. Even researchers from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia attended it. Me and my friend, Arathi gave away goodie bags and files to all participants. Not far from us, there was a group of students of my school and some teachers discussing something. Later on I found out that it was about the stomach ache that almost all the level 1 students had. The cause is still not confirmed. It might be from food poisoning or the river's water at camping during the weekend. Thank GOD I didn't go for the camping. Many of my friends were affected. One is lying in the hospital, one is vomiting blood, some went back home and some still surviving in hostel making several rounds to the toilet. To make the condition worse, the water in my school has high content of chlorine. Therefore, the food are unsafe to be consumed, the water is unsafe and so is the shower. Luckily, SYABAS came to our hostel and supplied clean water for us. We all bought pails and filled it one by one by taking turns. Hopefully the management will solve these problems as soon as possible. I also got locked out of my room today. Luckily, I managed to find my warden and get the spare key from her. My class ordered domino's for dinner and we ate it in a hut beside the dining hall. Today was quite a mess. What a starting week day! Hopefully things will get better tomorrow... #messymonday

Today was casual. I had lunch before going to my grandma's house. I met everyone there including my cousins, uncles and aunties. I had fun spending time with them. After tea, I started my journey back to my hostel which was about half an hour from my grandma's house. Brought all the food I bought yesterday from the supermarket and some home cooked food for dinner. I reached my hostel around 5.30 pm with my mother and my little brother. They spent some time in my room. A few minutes later, I got a call from my friend saying that I must go to the office immediately for a short meeting regarding the Nobel Laureate program tomorrow. I went there with my mom and brother. They met my teacher and they chatted for quite sometime. I got my file, tag, a blue bottle, a pen and a bag for the program. Hopefully it will be fun and awesome as what one of my friend said to me. I'm feeling excited but also nervous for tomorrow. It's a mixture of feelings. I guess I should be sleeping now since I must get up early tomorrow. Good night! #sunnysunday

Today I woke up at 1.30pm. I slept for 12 hours and that is my sleeping record so far although it is not as long as many of your records. My father woke me up and this was how the conversation went:

Father: Shaspreet, wake up now!
Me: Ahhhh....Ok, Papa...
Father: Do you what time is it?
Me: 1.30 (looking at the clock)
Father: What time you sleep last night?!
Me: errmmm....... around 1.30...
Father: How come you can sleep so long?!!!
Me: Can! If you don't have enough sleep for a week, then can... (showing my index finger)

I just grab my clothes and towel and went straight to the toilet to take a shower. As soon as I was done, I followed  my mother and my grandmother to the supermarket without eating anything. I bought a 3 quarters pants and a pair of pink slippers. I also bought a pair of orange slippers for my friend as she asked me to help her buy it. What do you expect me to do when I'm in a place where there are choices for almost everything? I tried controlling but I ended up shopping for food stock to bring to my hostel. Later in the evening, my whole big family and I went for a family dinner in a Thai restaurant. We took two tables since there were 18 of us. By the way, I came back home yesterday since this weekend I am suppose to attend a camp but I was not attending it. Guess what, the restaurant that we went to is just around the campsite! I only knew about it when I saw the signboard on the way there. What a coincidence! My friends went there for camping but I went there for a good dinner! My friends don't know about it yet since they are still in the camp and there is no internet connection there. But they will know tomorrow since that will be the first thing I tell them when I meet them. I can't wait for it! Back to the dinner, the food was awesome and I ate like a hungry tiger since I didn't eat from morning. I just came back from there and now I'm writing this post. Today was awesome since I spent my whole day with my family and had fun with them. By the way, one of my cousin is going to sit for PMR examination next Wednesday. I wished her all the best and gave her some last minute tips during dinner. Hopefully she will do it well and make us proud. Good Luck, Sheetal! #supersaturday

Our first subject for today was Modern Mathematics but initially our teacher met an accident almost a month ago and so we don't have class but our class representative, Ng Yew Yang said that there will be a replacement teacher for today. However, I guess he got the wrong information because no teacher attended the class and we ended up sitting in the class doing our own work. Guess what, We all ended up playing the Google game on the Google logo since today is Google's 15th birthday. Happy Birthday Google! Thanks for helping me getting information and making me easier to finish my assignments. Back to the Google game, The highest score was by Yew Yang and Vivien Ho that is 175 sweets. Aww... they are as sweet as the sweets they got! Well I just scored 173 sweets. Later, we had our Physics class where the teacher finished teaching us Chapter 2 : Forces and Motion. Two weeks from now is the quiz based on that. Then we had our Biology class but teacher was busy preparing for the Nobel Laureate Program for next week. So, we just presented our presentations on autosomal diseases among ourselves. Soon, my friend Azfar was asked to make an announcement to gather all the participant of the Nobel Laureate Program and my name was in the list with 10 other friends. During the gathering or can be called as a short meeting, the teacher in charge which is my biology teacher named Miss Ong Sy Ing, told us that we were selected according to ranking and all of us who got selected are in the top 30 of the school. I was very happy hearing that as I was finally satisfied with my achievement in exams. I hope to improve more in the finals that is about a month from now. Since I am the participant of this program, that means I am going to skip classes for a week. Hopefully I can cope up with it and hopefully my classmates are kind enough to update me with my assignments and homework in that one week. I don't know how the program is going to be. I just hope it will be a very good and memorable experience for me and it can help me to plan a better future. Let's see how it goes... Playground is not for young kids only but it is for all ages. #funfreefriday

My day started with my Additional Mathematics quiz that I studied last night. Seriously, I hope I had more time to answer the quiz. Have you ever feel that you know how to answer the questions but just do not have enough time for that? That's exactly how I felt during the quiz. The whole I day, I planned to finish my homework that decorated my whiteboard yesterday beautifully but guess what, my plan failed. I ended up not finishing a single work. This is normal in my life.  I guess my whiteboard will remain colourful for a few days. During prep last night, I am suppose to finish my Malay language work and my biology work but I ended up doing nothing. However, I gave a friend of mine a biology lesson since he skipped his class for his F1 competition yesterday. But I guess people wrongly interpret it and turned it into something else especially my friend, Vivien Ho! Playground is the building block for young generation... #Tastythursday

Hello readers,

Today was quite a busy day since I had quite a number of homework to decorate my whiteboard. But I don't mind because all the homework are kind of fun. I love today because finally I knew what was is my blood type and it is O+. We did the test during our Biology class and to tell you one fact about me, I am scared of blood. Don't ask me why because I don't know either. Therefore, I was jumping around the class before getting lanced. I moved the first time (and cursed) so I had to another one. At least all my efforts of facing my fear is worth the try. I 'm happy! *peace*. At night, I went to prep early and my friend Athira gave me Sticky and it's my first time trying it. We also played the Type Fu for like an hour and it was very addictive. I studied for my Additional Mathematics quiz and I slept at 2 am not because of the quiz but because of Type Fu and Spider Solitaire. Btw, that night Athira wore a shirt with 'playground' written on it. It was the starting point of the meaning 'playground' in my dictionary. We even changed the lyrics of 'Me and my girlfriend' to 'me and my playground'! You guys know the meaning already? Don't ask me because I won't tell.... #Weddingnessday

Well, well, well. Today is one of the lucky day since I had no class from the morning till 12.30 afternoon. 12.30 to 1.30 was my Physics class and I got to know from my Physics teacher that next week most teacher won't be around since they will be busy with Nobel Laureate Program. Therefore, I hope next week will be quite a free and relaxing week sine we have a lot of assignments since last week although I finished all. By the way, I have always wanted to finish all my homework and assignments early but once I've achieved it, I literally don't know what to do besides going on Facebook and sometimes Twitter. Sometimes I feel I should have did my assignments slowly since I have no idea what to do next. Probably u guys can help me out with a list of things to do after finishing my assignments! Therefore, I felt bored the whole day although it is suppose to be a wonderful day since there is no class and assignments to do. This is so weird. I wonder if I'm the only one feeling like this. Thank GOD I had something to do and that is to fulfill my responsibility as a librarian in my school. Today was a 'FREE DAY' which means all the students will have to return back all the library books they borrowed and no charges for those who returned late. We are actually rechecking the book records as many books are lost and probably stolen. There are also cases where students are only returning the books they borrowed from last year. We haven't finish checking yet although we were into it from 8.30 pm to 11.00pm today. We will be continuing our work tomorrow. Hopefully there will be no more problem with the system again. After that, my friends Athira and Manesha visited my room and guess what, Manesha is going to sleep over in my room! I do not have any roommate since my roommate dropped out of my school early of this year. However, I'm happy to stay alone as I get the whole room to myself and I can do anything I want and it is easier for my friends to share secrets with me as there will be no one else in the room although at times I do get disturbed by unseen things. By the way, Manesha is asleep now and I'm also going to bed as soon as I post this. The highlight of the day is Athira accidentally hit my 'playground' with her plastic bottle while I am writing this post. By the way, anyone of you know the meaning of 'playground'??? Hope you don't... mKay Bye!

The first post ever...

Hello everyone and a very good morning to all my viewers!

Today is a special day because today is the day I created this blog...

Today I am offically 16 years and 1 month since I was born on 23 August 1997. Actually, the reason I created this blog was just for the sake of my English assignment where we must write our daily entries for about a month. However, I have decided that I am going to continue writing this blog not only for my viewers but also for myself. One day, when I am older, I will spend my time reading back all my entries and recall back all the good and bad memories I have in my gifted school, PERMATApintar Negara, Malayisa. And I am sure I'm going to laugh and cry while doing that and surely the people around me will think I'm crazy... but who cares? As long as I have fun doing it... I hope this turns out well and before I continue writing my blog, I would like to clarify that whatever I write in this blog, I do not mean any harm to any individuals (or probably animals?) and it is only for the purpose of sharing my experiences and what I think to all of you... Feel free to comment anything you like at any entry of mine and don't worry, I will eventually read it and reply (if needed) as soon as possible.. :)
